Scott J. Anderson, Partner, Vancouver

Scott’s practice focuses on real estate, banking and debt financing. He assists clients with all aspects of real estate development, commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing, municipal planning, as well as corporate and commercial transactions involving both banks (including Canadian chartered banks and other institutional lenders) and private lenders.

Gordon B. Brandt, Partner, Vancouver

Gordon practices general civil and commercial litigation. His primary practice areas include shareholder disputes, pension and benefits litigation, class actions, real estate disputes and administrative law matters. He has appeared at all levels of Court in British Columbia, in Federal Court and in the Tax Court of Canada, and has represented clients before various administrative tribunals and bodies.

Shailaz Dhalla, Partner, Calgary

Shailaz practices regulatory law with a focus on energy, environmental, public utility and Indigenous law matters. She has knowledge and expertise navigating regulatory processes for various industries and obtaining approvals for projects including electric transmission facilities, pipelines, oil sands projects, wells, mines, and wind-power projects.

Michelle S. Jones, Partner, Vancouver

Michelle’s practice is focused on indigenous law and environmental law. She also advises clients (primarily employers) on occupational health and safety matters. Her practice primarily involves administrative and regulatory proceedings, and associated litigation proceedings.

Paul W. Matthews, P.Eng. (AB), Partner, Kelowna

Paul’s practice focuses on helping clients develop and commercialize their technologies. An engineering and technology lawyer, he has over 25 years of experience overseeing capital and technology investment in the energy industry and practising in the fields of intellectual property, engineering, procurement, construction, strategic sourcing and privacy.

Gillian Muirhead, Partner, Vancouver

Gillian practices corporate and securities law and has experience on a variety of transactions, including debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.  She also advises clients on corporate governance and securities regulatory matters, including public issuers with respect to their continuous disclosure obligations.

Jonathan H. Selnes, Partner, Calgary

Jonathan is a civil litigator with experience in complex commercial disputes, class actions, shareholder disputes, contract and tort matters, property disputes, and complex construction and engineering disputes.
