In this session, Michael Wolpert will present on the pension reform in Alberta set to reach a new milestone with the long anticipated release of the regulations to the Employment Pension Plans Act, and the coming into force of Bill 10. The pending changes represent a new era of pension regulation in Alberta, while at the same time providing considerable opportunity for pension plan sponsors. As can be expected with regulatory overhaul, these opportunities will be accompanied by new challenges for plan sponsors and administrators.
