“I was drawn to Lawson Lundell because of the firm's amazing lawyers, collaborative environment, and strong focus on mentorship and continuous improvement.”

Celest Xu is a summer student at the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell LLP.

During her first summer in law school, she worked as a research assistant focusing on tax law matters and gained experience at a small commercial litigation firm. In her second year, she competed in the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot and served as an executive member of the Osgoode Tax Law Association, where she will continue to serve as co-president. This fall, she will return to Osgoode Hall Law School to pursue her J.D. and will complete the Osgoode clinical programs, including Advanced Business Law Workshop I (Corporate Finance) and Workshop II (M&A), in her third year.

In her free time, she enjoys hot yoga, walking in the parks, and exploring new restaurants.
