Grant Vogeli, QC Elected as a Bencher for the Law Society of Alberta

Lawson Lundell is pleased to announce that litigation partner Grant Vogeli, QC has been elected as a Bencher for the Law Society of Alberta for a three-year term commencing February 25, 2021.

Grant is recognized as an accomplished practitioner by Benchmark Canada, Chambers Canada, Best Lawyers in Canada and Martindale-Hubbell and received his Q.C. designation in 2013. Grant has a strong commitment to serving the legal profession. He has taught the bar course and presented at several LESA seminars. He also does an extensive amount of pro bono work every year.

The Law Society of Alberta Board is comprised of 24 Benchers. Twenty are lawyers elected by the profession and four are public representatives appointed by the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General. They are responsible for regulating 'the legal profession in the public interest by promoting and enforcing a high standard of professional and ethical conduct by Alberta lawyers.'
