Biography

Peter is an associate in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on commercial real estate law, including the acquisition, sale, development, leasing and financing of real property.

He has experience engaging with an extensive variety of real property adjacent legal matters including water rights, municipal matters, First Nation consultation and engagement, Agricultural Land Reserve matters, heritage conservation protections, Land Owner Transparency Act disclosure, as well as foreshore and marina developments.

Peter also assists clients with respect to a wide variety of transactional matters, pre-litigation dispute resolution, corporate structuring, and corporate governance, as well as proxy contests and contested shareholder meetings.

Peter has negotiated and drafted commercial agreements across various industries; he particularly enjoys working with agricultural businesses including wineries.

Peter was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2021. In 2020, Peter received his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia where he was the recipient of the Business Law Clinic award for his work advising start-up businesses, and the Bruce McColl Memorial Prize in Alternate Dispute Resolution. After graduating from the Sauder School of Business, Peter provided marketing and event production services to live music and event industry clients throughout British Columbia.

Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Peter summered, articled and practiced at a leading regional law firm.
