Cecilia Barnes Elected to the Canadian Technology Law Association Board of Directors
Lawson Lundell lawyer Cecilia Barnes has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Technology Law Association.
Candace is a civil and commercial litigator with extensive experience advising clients on a wide range of matters, including contractual disputes, tort claims, real estate disputes, defamation, and insolvency and restructuring issues. She handles disputes involving shareholders, complex contracts, real estate, misappropriation of funds, and insolvent companies. Candace has represented clients in domestic arbitrations, tribunal proceedings, and before all levels of court in British Columbia and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.
The Canadian Technology Law Association was founded in 1997 to provide a national forum for Canadian lawyers to discuss the uniquely Canadian aspects of technology law and related fields of e-commerce and intellectual property.
