Partner Paul Matthews to Speak at ASCM Western Canada Summit 2026

Lawson Lundell is pleased to announce that partner Paul Matthews, P.Eng. (AB), will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Western Canada Summit 2026.

ASCM Summit 2026 will bring together supply chain and logistics professionals, engineers, lawyers, academics, leaders, consultants, educators, and students from across logistics, tech, clean tech, government, healthcare, and education.

Hosted in Burnaby, B.C., the event offers a mix of networking, knowledge-sharing and professional development opportunities built on "operating experience rather than theory."

Attendees will participate in sessions providing hands-on AI skills from a Level 2 workshop, a working read on global trade and CUSMA rules, and tactics applicable to procurement and cost decisions.

Paul, a technology lawyer and professional engineer with over 30 years in the energy and technology sectors across Canada and the United States advising on IP licensing, AI and data arrangements, and digital supply chain management, will speak on "Legal Aspects of Artificial Intelligence."
