Mike Morgan to speak to the Construction Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association on Recent and Notable Case Law
On February 13, Lawson Lundell lawyer Mike Morgan, FCIArb. will speak to the Construction Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association in an online seminar titled, 'Update on Recent and Notable Case Law.' Mike will co-present the webinar alongside Alexander Spraggs of Pihl Law Corporation. He will discuss two notable matters: Reid Developments Ltd. v. Hopkins, 2025 BCSC 502 and Kingdom Langley Project Limited Partnership v. WQC Mechanical Ltd., 2025 BCCA 169. In both matters, Mike was counsel for the successful parties so has a deep understanding of both of them and can speak to their implications for the construction bar.
