Ross is a partner in the Kelowna - Landmark office of Lawson Lundell and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Commercial, Board Advisory and Corporate Governance, Real Estate and Estate Planning Groups.

Ross provides business and strategic legal advice to a diverse group of businesses, business people, entrepreneurs and institutional clients in the technology, real estate, wine industry and commercial world. His legal experience is complemented by a finance and business background.

As a corporate/commercial lawyer, Ross provides advice to businesses and societies, assisting with corporate matters and a broad range of commercial agreements. He advises private company clients on mergers and acquisition transactions, corporate structuring, reorganizations, corporate finance, and board advisory and governance issues.

As an estate planning lawyer, Ross often works closely with clients’ other advisors to provide individuals with clear advice to establish plans and structures that implement clients’ wealth transfer intentions and to ensure planning for incapacity is in place. Ross can assist clients with unique and sometimes complicated matters, such as the use of trusts, dealing with blended family issues and ownership of assets in other jurisdictions. He also assists clients in dealing with estate administration and probate matters.

As a real estate lawyer, Ross advises clients on a variety of real estate projects and transactions, including buying and selling properties, development, subdivision, financing, marketing and ownership structuring. Having advised clients on such matters for many years, he is able to assist clients with whatever complexities they might face in the ownership of real estate.
