Michael Macaulay & Dominic Petraroia, KC Appointed to the City of Kelowna Community Task Force on Economic Prosperity
Lawson Lundell lawyers Michael Macaulay and Dominic Petraroia, KC, have been appointed to the City of Kelowna's Community Task Force on Economic Prosperity. The Task Force, comprised of 13 members, will make recommendations to the City of Kelowna Council on economic development measures for the region.
The Task Force will engage with the business community to identify industry growth opportunities, sector gaps, potential tourism partnerships, and civic investment opportunities to support local businesses and encourage economic development.
Michael is the founding Administrative Partner of our Kelowna office. His practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on the technology and innovation sector. He advises private companies, founders, investors, and organizations on a range of transactions, governance, and strategic business matters.
Dominic advises clients on corporate and commercial law, real estate matters, and estate planning and litigation. He has significant experience in general corporate and commercial matters; mergers and acquisitions; commercial lending; commercial, residential and resort developments; and inter-generational wealth and business transfers.
