Paul Matthews and Rachel Getz Host BC Tech C-Council Session

Lawson Lundell welcomed BC Tech to its Vancouver office on Nov. 4 for an executive C-Council session.

The event brought together technology founders and C-level executives for a content-rich roundtable focused on leadership, growth strategies and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing within the technology sector.

Special thanks to Lawson Lundell partner Paul Matthews, P.Eng. (AB) and articling student Rachel Getz for serving as hosts for the event and guiding the roundtable discussion with their presentation, "AI, Confidentiality and Privacy: A Founder's Roundtable on AI Governance, AI Tool Terms and Training Data," which explored managing legal risk and data privacy while adopting emerging technology.

BC Tech C-Councils provide dedicated forums for technology leaders to exchange practical insights, address operational challenges and foster collaboration across British Columbia's technology ecosystem.
