Biography

Andrew assists domestic and international clients on a broad range of corporate legal matters with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions. He has experience advising public and private companies and private equity funds on share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, reorganizations, financings and various other corporate proceedings.  Andrew also regularly drafts and reviews commercial agreements including shareholders agreements, confidentiality agreements and services agreements.

Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Andrew articled and practised with a leading national law firm in Calgary.

  • Acting for a publicly traded oil & gas production company in connection with an approximately $12 billion asset acquisition
  • Acting for a publicly traded midstream energy company in connection with the $412 million sale of its industrial propane business
  • Acting for a real estate development and investment company in its $661 million reorganization of multiple corporations, partnerships and real estate assets via court approved plan of arrangement
  • Acting for a diversified global utilities company in connection with an approximately $835 million sale of power generation assets
  • Acting for an international ATM service provider in connection with an approximately $540 million sale to a global financial services company
  • Acting for a private company in the acquisition of a chain of grocery retailers
  • Acting for public and private companies in connection with cross-border acquisitions and divestitures
