Lawson Lundell lawyer Jack Yong was quoted in an article by The Globe and Mail titled, 'Vancouver realtors ask: If allowed, would foreign buyers come back?' The Globe article discusses the current slump in the Vancouver housing market and how much of an impact the lifting of the ban on foreign buyers would have.

Commenting on foreign-buyers that are less interested in a quick-flip profit, Jack Yong said, “There’s definitely interest out there. They are asking either in advance of getting permanent residency or they have a child going to school here.”
