
Lucy practices in all areas of labour and employment law. She advises and represents clients on a broad range of matters, including hiring and on-boarding employees, employment contracts, employee dismissals, workplace policies, labour relations, employment litigation, and human rights issues.
Lucy’s litigation practice includes representing clients in connection with wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, post-employment solicitation and competition disputes, bullying and harassment complaints, and human rights matters. Lucy has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court and the Supreme Court, as well as a variety of administrative tribunals, including the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, Employment Standards Branch, and the British Columbia Labour Relations Board.
Lucy also advises clients on privacy and data management matters, with a particular focus on freedom of information requests, third party consultations between public and private organizations, and inquiries before the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for B.C.
