Louise McLeod

Louise McLeod maintains a broad commercial and civil litigation practice with a particular emphasis on estates and trusts disputes. She assists clients with matters involving wills variation and validity, capacity issues, unjust enrichment, constructive and resulting trusts, breach of fiduciary duties, committeeship applications, and accountings. Her experience also includes general corporate, contract and property disputes.

She is a member of Lawson Lundell’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. Louise also regularly assists clients in resolving claims through negotiation and mediation, focusing on practical and efficient solutions tailored to each matter.

Louise received her law degree from Thompson Rivers University, where she was awarded the Law Society Gold Medal and Prize. She clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal from 2015 to 2016 and after articling, spent 8 years practicing at a global law firm in Vancouver. She holds an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University, where she played on the varsity volleyball team.
