Jay is an associate in the Corporate Finance & Securities Group and the Fund Investments & Asset Management Group at Lawson Lundell. On corporate finance and securities matters, Jay advises clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital raising initiatives, and other general corporate matters.
On fund investment and asset management matters, he advises on the formation, management and operation of various types of investment vehicles, including the offering of their securities. He also regularly advises clients on corporate and securities regulatory compliance issues.
Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Jay worked in private practice at national and regional law firms in Toronto and Western Canada, and in-house at an international oil and gas company.
