
Jane practices civil and commercial litigation with a focus on complex breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, pension and benefits litigation, municipal disputes, and property tax appeals. She has both trial and appellate experience and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, including as lead trial counsel. Jane has also represented clients on leave applications before the Supreme Court of Canada and before various tribunals.
Before her call to the bar in 2020, Jane clerked for two Justices of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2018.
Jane earned her J.D. from the University of Victoria, where she was a member of the winning team in the BC Law Schools Competitive Moot and received several academic awards. Prior to law school, Jane worked as a legal advocate, representing clients in disputes before the Residential Tenancy Branch and other administrative tribunals.
