Akum Sidhu is an articling student in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell. She is interested in exploring multiple practice areas with a particular interest in the firm’s real estate and corporate practices.
Akum completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. During law school, Akum was an executive with the Pan-Asian Law Students Association and South Asian Law Students Association, which provide support for students of Asian heritage within the legal field. Akum was also a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Prior to attending law school, Akum completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Simon Fraser University and gained experience with Vancouver’s consulting industry as a research associate at a leading executive recruitment firm.
