Rachel maintains a broad commercial litigation practice, advising clients on real estate disputes, employment matters, shareholder disputes and oppression remedies, complex contractual issues, and construction disputes. She also has experience representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes, including commercial arbitrations and mediations.
Her real estate litigation experience includes advising on closing disputes, challenges to certificates of pending litigation, disputes involving beneficial ownership, and landlord and tenant matters. Rachel also acts on employment litigation files, construction disputes involving contested lien claims and subcontractor issues, shareholder disputes, corporate governance matters, and a wide range of complex contractual disputes.
Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Rachel practiced commercial litigation and anti-bribery and corruption compliance at a full-service national law firm in Calgary.
