
Ben is interested in exploring multiple practice areas with a particular interest in the firm’s litigation and environmental, Indigenous and regulatory law practices.
Ben completed his Juris Doctor at the Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law with a specialization in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law. During law school, he was an editor of the Dalhousie Law Journal and won the WA Henry Prize for excellence in constitutional law courses.
After law school Ben clerked at the Tax Court of Canada. Following his clerkship he pursued a Masters of Law at McGill’s Faculty of Law with a focus on the aboriginal right of self-governance. Outside of work Ben enjoys spending time with his family, following the local hockey team and going for a swim.
