Sonia Monty,

Sonia Monty is a paralegal in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell LLP. She joined the firm in 2024 and works with the Asia Pacific Group.

Sonia completed her paralegal diploma program in 2023 after which she gained a broad range of experience as a litigation paralegal, before focusing on her current practice area in commercial real estate and related matters.

Experience:

• Conducting various due diligence searches;
• Reviewing title and off-title searches;
• Drafting closing documents and correspondence;
• Performing registrations with the B.C. Land Title Office;
• Assisting in the preparation of wills;
• Assisting in the preparation of lease agreements; and
• Attending to closing and post-closing matters;
