Emma Plasteras,

Emma is an associate in the Corporate Commercial group in the Kelowna office of Lawson Lundell. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with a particular focus on technology start-up companies.

She has experience in a variety of transactions, including share and asset acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions. She regularly assists clients with financings, including friends and family rounds, convertible debt, SAFE and venture capital financings.

She regularly drafts, reviews and advises on commercial agreements for technology companies (including shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements, website terms and conditions, privacy policies and confidentiality agreements).

Emma started with Lawson Lundell as a summer student in 2020, and joined the firm as an associate following the completion of her articles in 2022.
