Biography

Simon is an associate in the Yellowknife office of Lawson Lundell and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice focuses on general civil litigation and child protection in both the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Simon also has an interest in all areas of employment litigation, representing clients in various severance disputes and human rights claims, and has also undertaken large-scale workplace investigations. Further, Simon is engaged in environmental law matters and is growing his regulatory and advisory practice.

Prior to joining Lawson Lundell in 2023, Simon worked as an associate at a general practice law firm in Canmore, Alberta, and as an articling and summer student at a full-service law firm in Ottawa, Ontario. With experience drafting pleadings and appearing in court in both English and French, Simon has gained wide advocacy experience through contentious proceedings.
