Matthew Wu is a summer student in the Calgary office of Lawson Lundell. He is interested in exploring all practice areas and has a particular interest in corporate commercial and insolvency law.
Matthew is currently working towards his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. Matthew is a volunteer with Student Legal Services, partaking in the criminal law project to equip low-income individuals with legal aid. He is also a writer and editor for Canons of Construction, the student paper at the faculty. Prior to attending law school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in International Relations and minoring in Law & Society.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys reading, gaming, catching up with the NBA, and hiking.
