Biography

Maddison Zapach is a lawyer in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell LLP. She is interested in exploring all practice areas, with a particular focus on litigation and research.

Maddison is completing her J.D. at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. During law school, she has worked as a law tutor for the UBC Real Estate Division and as a research assistant for professor Samuel Beswick to assist in developing an open source Torts coursebook hosted on CanLII. After graduation, she will be serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the BC Supreme Court in Vancouver.

Prior to attending law school, Maddison obtained her Bachelor of Commerce with a dual specialization in operational logistics and accounting at the UBC Sauder School of Business. She obtained a Commerce Scholar designation for her research in the area of economic analysis of law. During her degree, she served as a teaching assistant, learning content creator, and guest lecturer for eight undergraduate and masters-level courses.
