“I was drawn to Lawson Lundell LLP because of the firm’s welcoming, collegial environment and their stellar reputation that extends to both clients relations and student development.”
Inderdeep (Inder) Dhaliwal is a summer student in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell. He is interested in exploring many practice areas, including real estate and corporate commercial law.
Inder is currently working towards his Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria (UVic). Prior to attending law school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia, where he worked as a student researcher for the Department of History’s “Punjabi in BC” oral history project. The interviews he conducted with Punjabi language educators, activists, and advocates are part of an online archive documenting the history of the Punjabi language in the lower mainland.
Before transferring to UVic Law, Inder completed his first year at the University of Alberta, where he received the Dr Hazel Rutherford McCuaig Prize for top standing in the subject of Real Property. This past year at UVic, he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, completing research for the BC First Nations Justice Council.
