Catherine Haid is an articling student in the Yellowknife office of Lawson Lundell.

Catherine graduated from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law. Prior to her legal studies, Catherine completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University in History and Global Development Studies. Her research interests centered on Canadian nationalism and resource extraction.

During law school, Catherine volunteered with Student Legal Services of Edmonton and served as the 2021 Legal Education and Reform Project Coordinator. This project provides legal information and resources to low income community members through outreaches and information sessions. Catherine also volunteered with the University of Alberta’s Law Show raising funds for various Edmonton area charities.
