Sheila MacPherson Appointed to the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories
Lawson Lundell is pleased to announce that Sheila MacPherson has been appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories (NWT).
Sheila is the Administrative Partner of Lawson Lundell's Yellowknife office. Known widely for her leadership and legal expertise, she excels in the fields of constitutional law and litigation across the NWT and Nunavut. Sheila has appeared in complex litigation matters both in Nunavut and the NWT and has served as counsel for the Government of Nunavut on child protection cases. She has also served as the territorial legislature’s law clerk for more than 25 years.
Sheila will be greatly missed at Lawson Lundell, but we are excited to watch her take on this new role. Congratulations, Justice MacPherson!
