Keith Bergner Quoted in CBA Article on the Enshrining of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

Lawson Lundell lawyer, Keith Bergner, was quoted in an article published in the Canadian Bar Association's National Magazine. The article, "UNDRIP needs more than intent," examines the future implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples following the tabling of Bill C-15 by the federal government, in which it commits to setting up a framework to implement UNDRIP. 

“It would be open to the federal government to formulate measures in an action plan to address anti-Indigenous racism generally,” Keith said. “However, it is also open to the federal government to take such steps now, without passing legislation and/or outlining such measures in an action plan.”
