Toby Kruger, Keith Bergner and John Olynyk's article "Implementation of modern treaties: Lessons from the Peel River case" was featured in the Canadian Mining Journal on January 1. 2018. In particular, the article discusses the Supreme Court of Canada's  decision in First Nation of Nacho Nyak Dun v. Yukon which addresses the Yukon government’s obligation to follow the land use planning process set out in modern land claims agreements with First Nations.
