Mandeep Dhaliwal Speaks at Equipment Leasing and Finance Association Legal Forum
On Wednesday, May 5, Lawson Lundell lawyer Mandeep Dhaliwal spoke at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association Legal Forum on the topic of “Cross-Border Lease Transactions.”
The session provided an overview of the most common particularities of doing lease and other relevant secured transactions in cross-border deals involving Canada and Mexico. The panel also focused on hot topics in their jurisdictions. The goal was to provide U.S. counsel and other participants with visibility on what to expect, and highlight things to look out for, when working on deals involving Canada and Mexico.
Mandeep’s practice deals mainly with banks and private lenders in both secured and unsecured financing transactions. He has experience in the preparation and negotiation of loan and security documentation for real estate financing, including construction lending and permanent financing, subordinated debt financing and related intercreditor arrangements, leasing and other asset-based financing structures, hedging, securitization and aircraft finance.
