Jim Fraser Speaks on Legal Panel at the CPTA Western Education Seminar
On March 22nd, Lawson Lundell lawyer James (Jim) Fraser presented at the 2022 Western Chapter Educational Seminar hosted by the Canadian Property Tax Association (CPTA). As part of the 'Western Canada Legal Panel,' Jim spoke about British Columbia's legal updates and practice points on property tax, foreign buyer property transfer tax, additional property tax and BC Crown lease rents.
The CPTA is composed of corporate property tax officers, lawyers, tax consultants and government officials. It helps its members to stay informed on "new developments in assessment and property tax, to advocate for change and to network with the foremost assessment and taxation professionals across Canada."
Jim is a current member and past President of the CPTA.
