Partner Kenneth Burns Elected President of the Association of Canadian Pension Management
Lawson Lundell is pleased to announce that partner Kenneth Burns has been elected President of the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM).
ACPM is a leading national advocacy organization for retirement income systems in Canada, representing plan sponsors, administrators, and service providers. As President, Ken will help guide the organization’s national initiatives, policy development, and ongoing advocacy for retirement security and pension coverage.
Ken practices exclusively in Lawson Lundell’s Pensions and Employee Benefits Law Group. Based in Vancouver, he routinely advises corporate, public sector, and multi-employer pension plan sponsors on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, including plan governance, compliance monitoring, regulatory applications, and the pension and benefits issues arising in mergers and acquisitions.
A long-time contributor to the pension community, Ken has a deep history of service with the ACPM, previously serving as Vice-President, British Columbia Regional Council, Past Chair, and Chair of the 2013 and 2019 National Conference and National Conference Planning Committee.
Ken is consistently recognized as a leading practitioner in his field by major legal directories, including Chambers Canada, The Legal 500 Canada, and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
