Lawson Lundell Named Metro Vancouver’s Biggest Law Firm by Business in Vancouver

Lawson Lundell is proud to announce that it has been ranked as the biggest law firm in Metro Vancouver by Business in Vancouver (BIV) in its annual rankings.

The BIV list ranks local firms by the total number of practicing lawyers in the region. Lawson Lundell claimed the top spot with 166 lawyers practicing out of its downtown Vancouver office.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in the firm's ongoing momentum. In BIV’s 2025 rankings, Lawson Lundell was recognized as the fastest-growing firm in the region, jumping 13 per cent in lawyer headcount and increasing support staff numbers by 18 per cent in 12 months.

Founded in 1886, Lawson Lundell has grown alongside the region for 140 years. Today, the firm provides comprehensive legal services with core focus areas in corporate commercial, mining, real estate, environment and regulatory, and litigation and dispute resolution. In addition to its Vancouver hub, the firm supports clients through strategic regional offices in Calgary, Yellowknife and Kelowna.
