Shannon practices commercial litigation and arbitration in the firm’s Calgary office. She has been practicing for more than 20 years in dispute resolution and has a broad range of experience on commercial and business dispute matters, working with companies in a wide range of industries, including energy, power, real estate, and technology.
Clients regularly request Shannon to act on complex contractual and business tort disputes as she is known for creative and think outside-the-box solutions to achieve her client’s goals in the most practical way.
Amy is an experienced and respected civil and commercial litigator specializing in complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Amy has a broad litigation practice with expertise in trust and pension litigation, defamation, class actions, professional regulation, real estate disputes, construction disputes, and shareholder and corporate disputes.
Amy’s practice is defined by her sound judgment, effective advocacy and her thoughtful and practical approach to resolving disputes through mediation, negotiated settlements or trials.
Nicole practices in all areas of labour and employment law, advising clients on wrongful dismissal, labour relations, human rights and privacy issues. Nicole has represented clients in matters involving labour arbitrations, labour relations boards, employment standards tribunals, human rights tribunals and privacy commissioners.
She frequently negotiates collective agreements and provides strategic and tactical advice to clients on drafting employment contracts and the labour and employment aspects of commercial transactions.
Marika is a commercial litigator focused on resolving complex business disputes for clients in the energy, electricity, construction, and real estate sectors. She represents oil and gas companies, power producers, developers, service providers, and boards of directors in litigation and arbitration matters.
She has experience with contractual disputes, including in relation to gas handling and transportation agreements, joint operating agreements, co-ownership arrangements, oil and gas purchase and sale agreements, power purchase agreements and construction agreements.
Her practice also includes environmental commodities disputes involving renewable energy credits, emission performance credits, and emission offset credits, as well as matters involving director and officer liability and multi-party commercial disputes with misrepresentation, conspiracy and fraud allegations.
Shannon is an innovative and high-performing litigation and regulatory lawyer with over 20 years of experience advising clients on complex commercial and regulatory matters. Her practice focuses on resolving difficult business disputes in the commercial, energy and power sectors.
She has extensive experience managing large, complex litigation, regulatory and administrative matters in the electricity and oil and gas industries, where organization, accountability, effective communication and overall vision is imperative for success.
