Lawson Lundell partner, Craig Ferris, KC, FCIArb., has been elected Vice-President of The Advocates’ Society (TAS) Executive Committee for 2025-26. He is the first British Columbia lawyer to hold this position. Craig has served a number of organizations in the legal community throughout his career, including as President of the Law Society of BC. His appointment as Vice-President of TAS further demonstrates his commitment to safeguarding the legal profession and supporting all its members.
Craig has been a partner at Lawson Lundell since 1998. His particular areas of specialization include shareholder remedies, trust, pension and fiduciary disputes, securities and transactional litigation, product liability, mining disputes and real estate litigation. Craig has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
The Advocates’ Society is a not-for-profit association of over 6,000 judges, lawyers and advocates that teaches the skills of advocacy, promotes ethical and professional practice standards, and protects the independence of the bar and the judiciary.
