Taylor Marie-Young

Taylor-Marie maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice. She handles complex business disputes and other civil matters, including complex estates, trusts, and torts.

Taylor-Marie has significant experience in contractual disputes, shareholder and corporate conflicts, fraud claims, debtor-creditor matters, estate and trust litigation, employment disputes, and the defence of professionals, including lawyers. She maintains both a trial and appellate practice and regularly appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal.

Taylor-Marie’s advocacy is characterized by foresight, precision, and sound judgment, with an emphasis on advancing her clients’ interests efficiently. She provides pragmatic guidance aimed at minimizing the cost and disruption associated with litigation while positioning matters for successful resolution.

Taylor-Marie is a regular contributor to professional development programs, seminars, and publications, including the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and its Annual Review of Law & Practice publication. She also serves periodically as a guest lecturer at Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law.
