
QiJiang Zhao is a summer student in Lawson Lundell’s Vancouver office. She is interested in a wide range of corporate legal work including the firm’s Asian Pacific Group, tax, banking, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and private equity transactions.
Before joining Lawson Lundell, QiJiang (pronounced “Chee-John”) served as a legal researcher on a federally funded public interest project. Prior to that, she worked for the United Nations Headquarters in New York on a multimillion-dollar fundraising project.
QiJiang is currently working towards her Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of British Columbia, where QiJiang coached and coordinated teaching assistants for her school’s language program throughout her undergraduate degree.
In her spare time, QiJiang is an avid traveller and has visited over twenty countries to date.
