As a member of both the Corporate Commercial Law and Estate & Wealth Advisory groups, Lesley assists clients and legal teams with a wide variety of corporate transactions. Her practice includes supporting share and asset acquisitions, corporate and tax-driven reorganizations, private equity fund transactions, and various other corporate proceedings.
Lesley has over 20 years of experience in the legal industry. Her career in law began in 2004 as a Legal Administrative Assistant for a national firm, where she quickly advanced into a paralegal role within the corporate finance and lending group. Her extensive hands-on experience in all stages of transactions, from conducting initial due diligence to running closing boardrooms, led to the opportunity to join Lawson Lundell in 2008 as a corporate transactions paralegal, broadening her knowledge and expertise to corporate commercial proceedings. At the end of 2024, she briefly stepped away to expand her background, gaining valuable experience as a corporate services manager before returning to corporate transactions work at Lawson Lundell in 2026. She leverages her comprehensive transactional background and evolving skillset to support clients while advancing her knowledge in complex, tax-driven corporate reorganizations and wealth preservation planning.
