Eliza Malhi is a summer student in Lawson Lundell’s Vancouver office. She is interested in exploring various practice areas, with a particular focus in the firm’s corporate commercial law practice.
Eliza is currently working towards earning her Juris Doctor degree at Thompson Rivers University. Eliza has experience volunteering with the South Asian Legal Clinic of BC, she has served as the secretary for the Sikh Students Association at TRU Law, and she has authored a publication for the TRU Law Human Rights Club examining the legal and ethical issues of U.S. mass deportations and documenting first-hand accounts of treatment during transport in U.S-India deportation flights.
Prior to attending law school, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University where she majored in Philosophy with a concentration in law and minored in Gender Studies. She also has a certificate in Ethics and Global Justice.
