Deonte McCarthy is a summer student in Lawson Lundell’s Kelowna office. He is interested in exploring the technology, corporate commercial, labour and employment, and real estate practice areas.
Deonte has experience working as a Teaching Assistant for TRU’s Constitutional Law 1L course. Additionally, Deonte spent his 1L summer working with the Ontario Secondary School Federation as part of their in-house counsel team.
Deonte is currently working towards his Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, he completed his B.A in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies at the University of Toronto.
