Atena is a corporate paralegal. She works closely with lawyers and clients to support a wide range of corporate transactions, such as director, officer, company name and office changes, incorporations, annual maintenance, alterations, amalgamations, dissolutions, registrations, and share-related matters including but not limited to redemptions, transfers, transmissions and payments of dividends. Much of Atena’s work also includes tax-driven reorganizations, including section 51 and 85 rollovers and section 86 share exchanges.
Atena further assists with select estate planning matters, providing support with the preparation of powers of attorney, representation agreements, wills and supplementary documents.
