Alexander advises clients on all aspects of trust and estate planning and administration. With regard to estate planning services, Alexander prepares wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements, with consideration given to more complex matters such as multiple will and multi-jurisdictional planning, joint asset arrangements, blended families, persons with disabilities, and the risk of wills variation, incapacity, or undue influence claims.
With respect to estate administration, Alex prepares applications for grants of probate and administration, and also attends to post-grant matters such as the transmission of real estate, transfer of corporate assets, and interim and final distributions to beneficiaries.
Alexander also provides trust planning services which include settlement of alter ego, joint spousal, and family trusts, as well as the review and amendment of existing trust structures, including changes to trustees, beneficiaries, and distribution provisions.
