Liyan’s practice is focused on commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and estate planning. She advises clients on the acquisition, sale, and financing of real property across various asset classes and assists developers with limited partnership structures, development agreements, subdivision applications, disclosure statements, construction financing, deposit protection insurance facilities, and project closings. She also represents landlords and tenants on commercial leasing matters. Liyan is a member of Lawson Lundell’s Asia Pacific Group.
In her corporate practice, Liyan assists private companies with share and asset purchase transactions, corporate reorganizations, commercial agreements, and corporate governance. She also advises clients on estate planning and administration, including the preparation of trusts and estate planning documents.
Liyan is fluent in Mandarin and reads and writes Chinese.
