Dmytro Galagan is an articling student in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell LLP. He is interested in exploring all practice areas and has a particular interest in cross-border transactions and dispute resolution.
Dmytro graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Faculty of Law and received his LL.M. in International Business Law from the Central European University. Before moving to Canada in 2015, he worked as an associate at a boutique law firm in Ukraine and interned at the Association for International Arbitration in Brussels and the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
Most recently, Dmytro completed an LL.M. from the University of Victoria, where his research focused on international investment disputes, and worked as a legal researcher at the Trade Law Bureau in Ottawa.
In his free time, Dmytro enjoys reading, cycling and watching soccer. He speaks fluent Russian and Ukrainian.
