Samantha has a general corporate and commercial practice. She works primarily with private sector clients on a variety of transactions including asset and share acquisitions and dispositions, the negotiation of commercial agreements and corporate reorganizations, such as amalgamations and wind-ups.
Samantha provides ongoing legal advice in a broad variety of industries, including energy, manufacturing, retail and health professions. She regularly drafts, reviews and advises on contracts relating to business matters and operations. These include agreements for joint ventures, supply and distribution, services, contractors, licensing, confidentiality and non-disclosure, non-compete/non-solicit and unique commercial arrangements. Samantha also advises clients on an array of corporate matters including corporate governance issues, incorporations and drafts and reviews corporate documents such as shareholder and partnership agreements.
Before joining Lawson Lundell in 2011, Samantha articled and practiced corporate law at a national firm in Calgary.
