Maxwell works in the Commercial Real Estate and Development group at Lawson Lundell and assists clients with all aspects of real estate development, commercial leasing and municipal planning.
Maxwell graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2009 and joined Lawson Lundell in the same year as an articled student. Before turning to the law, he studied electrical engineering and obtained his degree from the University of Alberta in 2005.

Personal Interests
Maxwell has a personal interest in sustainable architecture and community development and during law school worked as a contractor on several green developments in the greater Edmonton area. His spare time is spent exploring the natural beauty surrounding Vancouver and the cultural diversity within its boundaries.
Maxwell has experience:
- Assisting developers with the development of residential, retail and mixed-use projects, including site acquisition, preparation of disclosure statements, presale purchase agreements and related documentation.
- Acting for developers in connection with the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties.
- Representing both tenants and landlords in lease preparation in industrial, retail and office leasing transactions.
- Advising clients in a variety of corporate matters.
