Biography

Karen Wasylyshen is a paralegal in the Kelowna Landmark office of Lawson Lundell and is a member of the Estate Planning and Litigation Group.

Originally from England, Karen moved to Kelowna after living and working in various parts of the world such as Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. She attended Okanagan College in Kelowna for Corporate/Conveyancing work as well as Litigation.

Professional Activities

Focused on wills and estates, Karen responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting lawyers in preparing legal documents such as wills, trusts and estate plans, including the preparation and filing of:

– Codicils
– Power of Attorneys
– Living Wills
– Letter of Administration

  • Assisting clients with probate and estate administration.
  • Maintaining client records and documentation.
  • Communicating with clients, beneficiaries, and court officials.
