Lawson Lundell establishes the Lawson Lundell LLP Entrance Scholarship at the UVic Faculty of Law

Lawson Lundell LLP is pleased to announce the establishment of a $15,000 annual entrance scholarship at the UVic Faculty of Law. This is UVic Law's largest entrance scholarship and makes Lawson Lundell a leader amongst law firms that offer annual scholarships to law students.

The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student beginning the Juris Doctor program who has demonstrated academic excellence or who has demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative in the community or through his or her academic pursuits.

Lawson Lundell has also increased its support of course prizes, creating three new ones for a total of four awards. The three new course prizes are: the Lawson Lundell LLP Prize in Secured Transactions ($1,500); the Lawson Lundell LLP Prize in Securities Regulation ($1,500); and the Lawson Lundell LLP Prize in Administrative Law Process ($1,500). They join the existing Lawson Lundell LLP Prize in Business Associations ($1,500).

Lawson Lundell LLP has been a strong supporter of UVic Law for decades. The new scholarship and course prizes reflect our ongoing commitment to the Faculty and its students.
