 Sheila is the most senior civil litigator in our Yellowknife office. She has experience in all levels of court in the Northwest Territories and has appeared before a number of boards and tribunals. She represented the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories for 12 years, gaining valuable experience in the area of constitutional and parliamentary law. Additionally, Sheila has appeared in Court on a number of occasions for municipalities in both the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Through her experience representing the Legislative Assembly and municipalities, she has gained a high degree of experience in legislative interpretation and history as it relates to the laws of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Sheila presently practices primarily in the area of civil litigation, family and child welfare law and administrative/parliamentary law.
